Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising and Escalation still run on today’s PCs. There are two ways onto the battlefield, and it all depends on one question: do you still have your old NovaWorld account?
New NovaWorld accounts cannot be created any more, and NovaWorld passwords cannot be reset. Only players who still have their old login can play in the NovaWorld lobby.
Yes, I have my NovaWorld account
- Buy Joint Operations: Combined Arms Gold on Steam. It contains Typhoon Rising and the Escalation expansion.
- Install it from Steam and start the game.
- Log in to NovaWorld with your old account.
- Join ! 20 Year #jointops2024.com from the lobby list. Read the server rules before your first round.
No, I have no NovaWorld account
Then you cannot get onto NovaWorld. Play with the community instead: the free JO:TAC installer sets up Joint Operations, the JO:TAC mod and the Revival Launcher with its own lobby. No NovaWorld account needed.
- Download the JO:TAC installer (.zip) and unzip it.
- Run it, keep the default folder (
C:\GAMES\JOTAC) and click Start Installation. - Open the Revival Launcher and create your player.
- Pick a server and deploy. New updates install from the launcher.
JO:TAC asks every player to own an official copy of Joint Operations on Steam.
