It all started with a birthday
Hello Dear Friends of Joint Ops,
in June 2024 our good old Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising turned 20. Man, I could not let that birthday pass without one big fight like back in the days! So I set up a new server, ! 20 Year #jointops2024.com, and this website to go with it. Both were born for the 20 Year Celebration.
Three Saturday nights in June, three big battles. And you came! On the first night the server was full: 64 players and 5 more waiting in the queue. I had to wait 15 minutes myself to get in. There is no word to describe how this feels! For the second night I rented a room and went live on YouTube for the birthday. On the last night we still had almost 60 players, in fights like never before. And then even a very famous YouTube star, Shauney from Classic PC Games, uploaded a video from our celebration: Players gather for Joint Operations’ 20th birthday. Thank you Shauney!
After the celebration we kept going: monthly events, new maps, live stats and the revival. This server and this website are built for the community, and everyone in good faith for the game is welcome, old veterans and brand-new soldiers. Joint us on Discord!
